Tossed, a London-based chain of restaurants offering healthy and ethically sourced food, has received £1.5m of development funding from international venture capital company Beringea.
The investment will support the company’s plans for increasing the number of stores across London. Based in the Greater London area, Tossed currently has six sites – including stores on Tottenham Court Road, St Martin’s Lane and the newly opened venue on Mortimer Street.
In conjunction with the funding, Beringea’s investment director Karen McCormick will join the company’s board as a non-executive director.
