Plastiques Wolinak Inc. Receives $200,000 Funding from Government of Canada

Plastiques Wolinak Inc., a Wôlinak (Quebec)-based company specializing in plastic injection moulding, has received $200,000 in repayable funding from the Community Adjustment Fund under the Canada’s Economic Action Plan.
The financing will enable the firm, which currently serves numerous clients from Quebec and beyond, to purchase equipment.
In addition, the contribution will allow Plastiques Wolinak to develop a prototype for a mould that will serve in the manufacture of an innovative new product made entirely of recycled and recyclable plastic materials for use in the laying of ceramic tiles (99% of the output of this new product will be destined for export markets).
According to a press release, the project will result in the immediate creation of nine sustainable jobs and the maintenance of 12 existing positions.
