World Mastery Raises €3M in Series A Funding

worldmasteryWorld Mastery, a Barcelona, Spain-based edtech startup, raised €3M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Nauta Capital. In conjunction with the funding, Jordi Vinas, Nauta Capital’s General Partner will join World Mastery’s board.

The company intends to use the funds to enhance its platform and accelerate global go-to-market strategy.

Founded in 2016 by Aniol Brosa and Oriol Segundo, World Mastery is a content-as-a-service platform which provides structured online courses for businesses and professionals delivered by experts in subjects including tennis, basketball, dance, yoga, fitness, cooking and hairstyle.
Experts include Toni Nadal, Božidar Maljković and Kim Kimble.

The company currently has more than 50 employees and serves customers across across 105 countries with the U.S. being the primary market, followed by Spain, Italy, Mexico and France.
