Holistic Industries, a Washington-based private vertically-integrated cannabis operator, closed $55m in funding.
The backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate expansion.
Founded by CEO Josh Genderson in 2011, Holistic Industries is one of the largest private cannabis multi-state operators (MSO) in the U.S. and runs vertical operations in California, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C.
The company has numerous licenses pending across the country.
