Brut., a New York- and Paris, France-based global digital media brand for millennials and Gen Z, raised approximately $40M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Red River West and blisce/, with participation from Aryeh Bourkoff, Founder and CEO of LionTree LLC, and Eric Zinterhofer, Founding Partner of Searchlight Capital Partners and existing investors.
The company plans to use the new funds to continue its worldwide expansion, starting with bolstering its operations in the U.S.
Founded in 2017 by Guillaume Lacroix, CEO, Brut. is a next-gen global media brand for millennials and Gen Z, delivering socially conscious news and entertainment across eight social platforms.
The company currently engages a global audience of 2 billion millennials and Gen Z-ers, who view content in over 57 countries.
Brut., which generates 250 million UMVs, 3 billion monthly impressions and 30 million daily active viewers, has partnered with some of the world’s most recognized brands including Netflix, Airbnb, Ralph Lauren, Nike, BBC News, L’Oreal, LVMH, Kering and Orange.
