Pantheon, a San Francisco, CA-based website operations platform (WebOps) for agile marketers and developers, acquired StagingPilot, a provider of a website update automation platform.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
StagingPilot currently automates millions of checks monthly, all of which will be available to Pantheon customers. The integration of StagingPilot’s website update automation capabilities will expand the company’s WebOps offering. The StagingPilot team – led by Founder Nathan Tyler – will join Pantheon.
Led by Zack Rosen, CEO and Co-Founder, Pantheon is a WebOps platform for Drupal and WordPress, running more than 285,000 sites in the cloud and serving over 10 billion page views a month. Its multitenant, container-based platform enables organizations to manage all of their websites from a single dashboard. Customers include Tableau, Zuora, United Nations and IBM.
