Voiceflow, a Toronto, Canada-based design and development platform for voice apps, raised $3m in seed funding.
The round was led by True Ventures, with participation from:
– ProductHunt founder Ryan Hoover,
– Eventbrite founders Julia and Kevin Hartz,
– InVision founder Clark Valberg,
– Webflow founder Vlad Magdalin, and
– Fancy founder Jack Einhorn.
The company, which has raised $3.5m over the past five months, intends to use the funds to scale its platform and user base.
Founded in June of 2018 by Braden Ream, Tyler Han, Michael Hood, and Andrew Lawrence, Voiceflow provides teams with a drag-and-drop interface to design, prototype, and publish voice apps for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, without writing any code. The platform features third-party integrations and custom API connectivity.
It is free for individuals and small teams, with paid monthly plans for businesses.
