Netography Raises $2.6M in Funding

CyberSecurityNetography, a San Francisco, CA-based autonomous network security platform, raised $2.6M in seed funding.

Andreessen Horowitz made the investment.

The company is using the funds to continue to develop its platform.

Co-founded by CEO Barrett Lyon and CTO Dan Murphy, Netography is developing an autonomous network security platform, which leverages existing network device data in the enterprise to stop threats. Data produced by network devices, combined with cloud processing, software and algorithms created using the collective knowledge of 20 years experience from top experts in DDoS and network attacks allows Netography’s patent-pending technology security teams to detect early indicators of an attack, and automatically respond.
General availability of the platform will be released in the second quarter of this year.
