Infocyte Raises $5.2M in Series B Funding

Infocyte, a San Antonio-based cyber threat hunting company, closed a $5.2m Series B funding round.

The round, which brings total investment to $8.6M, was led by Toba Capital with participation from existing investors LiveOak Venture Partners, and Feik Enterprises.

The company intends to use the funds to scale its business reach and support its network of partners.

Led by Curtis Hutcheson, CEO, and Chris Gerritz, founder and chief product officer, Infocyte provides a forensics-based threat hunting platform that discovers the post-compromise activity of cyber attackers and malware that have bypassed other defenses.
The company’s approach to security reduces attacker dwell time to allow organizations and independent assessors to defend networks and critical information.
