GoodSeeker, Inc., a McLean, VA-based employer branding and advocacy software company, closed a seed funding round.
The round, which brings the total raised by the company to $1.3m, was led by Michael Ortner, founder of Capterra and joined the advisory board.
The company intends to use the funds for product development and growth of the team in the areas of marketing and customer service.
Led by Erik Ayers, CEO and Co-Founder, GoodSeeker is a SaaS-based solution that helps an organization’s employees, customers, and other stakeholders to generate and post their stories about good things that happen at work – which are too often missed. The solution offers a “Story Generator” for developing stories that can be promoted internally, externally on a GoodSeeker company page, and on social media.
