TravelNest, an Edinburgh, UK-based holiday home bookings and advertising aggregation platform, raised £3m in seed funding.
The round was led by Pentech Ventures, Mangrove Capital Partners and Frontline Ventures, with participation from Mark Logan, former COO of Skyscanner and will be joining TravelNest’s board.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand engineering operations and develop the product.
Led by Doug Stephenson, founder and CEO, TravelNest provides a platform that allows holiday rental owners to concentrate on maximizing their booking revenue by taking all the hassle out of distributing the properties across a range of websites worldwide. The company works with a number of different travel sites such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and more for the properties to be seen by many more customers and increase in both occupancy and earnings.
