miPic, a London, UK-based provider of an online photo marketplace, raised £1.3m in seed funding.
Backers included Sage Technologies. In conjunction with the funding, Michael Boocher, Sage Technologies’ head of investment strategy, joined miPic’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and business reach.
Founded by Carl Thomas, miPic operates an online photo marketplace that allows people to print, buy and sell their images as art, fashion & design products.
Products in the marketplace includes printed swimsuits, custom beach towels, printed T-shirts, tote bags, canvas prints, iPhone 7 cases and Galaxy S8 cases.
