Led by Sihao Huang, CEO, and Matthew Travis, COO, Aphelion Orbitals aims to expand access to space for CubeSats, small satellites using ultra-low-cost reliable launch services and spacecraft.
The company’s Feynman CubeSat launch system is optimized for payloads up to 6U. Future versions will allow larger payloads and permit deep space trajectories. Aphelion Orbitals offers a complete system, including satellite bus and systems so that customers will only need to interface their payload to the spacecraft.
Aphelion Orbitals operates from offices in New York City, NY and Titusville, FL as well as an R&D facility in Union City, NJ.
The funding will enable the completion of the CubeSat product line and propulsion system development.
