Torchlite, an Indianapolis, Indiana-based tech marketing company, closed $2M seed financing round.
The company has raised $4M in total funding to date.
Founded in 2015 by Susan Marshall, Torchlite provides a platform for marketers to turn ideas into campaigns by showing them what to do, how to do it and who can get it done. Freelance marketing experts called Torchliters engage with businesses of every size through Torchlite Action™, a SaaS platform that identifies marketing priorities and helps manage objectives, campaigns and deliverables to completion.
In conjunction with the funding, Yext (NYSE: YEXT) CMO Jeffrey K. Rohrs joined Torchlite Board of Directors as Executive Chairman while Scott McCorkle, former CEO Salesforce Marketing Cloud, joined as Executive Chairman.
Rohrs will be leveraging his extensive marketing experience at the board level to help guide the company’s approach to empowering marketers.
McCorkle will be actively involved in Torchlite’s operations, providing expert direction on go-to-market strategies and contributing to the development of the product and technology.
