Seez Raises $1.8M in Seed Funding

According to a post, Seez, a Lebanese automotive marketplace, raised $1.8m in seed funding.

Backers included B&Y, Phoenician Funds, and Wamda Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to enhance app AI and chatbot those capabilities in their app by expanding the team in Beirut and Dubai and increasing its marketing scheme.

Founded by Andrew and Tarek Kabrit, Seez aims to use image recognition, AI, and chatbots to automate the car search/buying process so that buyers can find the car they want, contact sellers, and negotiate the price, all within the app.
Users can search for cars using image recognition for vehicles they spot on the street, receive contextual location based notifications, and speak with chatbot that acts like a personal car buying concierge.
