Symphony Communication Services, LLC, a Palo Alto, CA-based provider of a cloud-based messaging and collaboration platform that connects markets, organizations and individuals, raised $63m in funding.
The round was led by BNP Paribas with participation from existing shareholders.
The company, which previously raised a total of $170m, will use the capital to accelerate platform innovation and expand into new markets.
Founded in October 2014 by David Gurlé, CEO, Symphony is a cloud-based platform that enables businesses to provide collaboration technology to their employees to securely communicate with internal and external teams, share documents and content, and conduct meetings with conferencing and screen-sharing. Headquartered in Palo Alto, the company has offices in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore and London.
