Discuss.io, a Seattle, Washington-based qualitative market research company, closed $5.025m in Series A financing.
The round was led by Unilever Ventures and Pereg Ventures.
The company, which has raised $6.35m in total funding, intends to use the capital to enhance the platform and to expand its engineering and sales teams.
Led by founder Zach Simmons, Discuss.io provides a qualitative market research platform for organizations to speak directly with consumers around the globe in real-time. With the platform, brands can instantly target their desired niche demographic and determine insights on a variety of market research topics, from product development and optimization, to brand and segment exploration, to testing advertising concepts, package design, and web interfaces.
The solution is used by the world’s leading brands, including Unilever, PepsiCo, Nestle, Danone, and Godrej, among many others.
