Decibel Insight, a London, UK-based provider of a digital experience analytics platform for enterprise businesses, raised $9m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Eight Roads Ventures with participation from John Simon, via his Ventureforgood investment entity. In conjunction with the funding, Michael Treskow, Partner at Eight Roads Ventures, will be joining the board.
The company intends to use the funds to scale the business and drive continued innovation through data science.
Launched in 2014 and led by Ben Harris, CEO, Decibel Insight provides a digital experience analytics platform which reveals exactly how users behave on websites and mobile apps, enabling enterprise businesses to quantify and improve the customer experience at every touchpoint. The digital experience analytics technology processes everything that happens during a user’s session – from mouse movements and device rotations to popups and errors – and provides insights through visual reports, session replays and data visualizations of the customer’s digital body language.
Clients include Lego, General Motors, British Airways, Toys R Us and Allstate Insurance.
The company currently employs over 50 people in London, Boston and Denver.
