Vino75, a Florence, Italy-based wine tech startup, raised €1.5m in funding.
The round was co-led by Invitalia Ventures and SICI Sgr, which joined current shareholders including Andrea Merloni, former President of Indesit Group, Club Italia Investimenti 2 and Club Digitale.
The company, which is hosted by NanaBianca in Florence, intends to use the funds for the development of the platform at international level and to consolidate the domestic market with new dedicated services for the Hotellerie-Restaurant-Café industry.
Led by Andrea Nardi Dei, CEO, Vino75 is a digital wine shop offering over 1.800 wine labels and 600 wine producers. In addition, the company provides a Saas platform that enables Italian agri-food companies to manage their business and optimize cost and timing and a B2B platform dedicated to buyers.
Vino75 recently signed a cooperation agreement with Alibaba’s TMAll Direct to bring 10 Italian wineries to the Chinese market with plans to increase this number to (at least) 100.
