Kinexxia Secures Seed Funding from Syven Capital

teerKinexxia, a Palatine, IL-based employee engagement technology platform provider, raised an equity investment from Syven Capital.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations.

Led by Tim Padgett, CEO, and George Couris, President, Kinexxia develops products, systems and services for corporate culture and employee engagement. Its flagship system, Teer1 (a contraction of the word volunteer), allows companies to run employee volunteering programs. Through the mobile application, employees can sign up for company events, collaborate with fellow volunteers and post pictures and comments. They can also share their personal volunteering activities and include friends and families in company volunteering events.
Teer1 is currently licensed to more than 14,000 employees in North America through companies ranging from small firms to Fortune 100 enterprises. Within the next 12 months, the company expects more than 100,000 employees to be on the platform.

Kinexxia also offers AwardStar, a platform for companies to manage award competitions, best practice sharing and scholarship programs.
