Ban-Up, a Milan, Italy-based consulting company for innovative entrepreneurial ideas, received a minority investment from PoliHub, the incubator managed by Fondazione Politecnico di Milano and controlled by Politecnico di Milano.
Members of Ban TN business angel network also participated in the deal, whose amount was not disclosed.
Led by Managing Director Luca Canepa, Ban-Up is dedicated to accelerating innovative entrepreneurial ideas to help them grow both in Italy and abroad through specific professional skills and a network of international contacts. To this end, the firm aims to create a virtual network of business angels, entrepreneurs and managers with different skills which enable PoliHub to increase the efforts to support incubated startups.
In conjunction with the funding, Stefano Mainetti, Managing Director of PoliHub, will join Ban-Up’s Board of Directors, which already included Canepa, Marco Nannini, Paolo Anselmo, Dario Caleffi, Angelo Bonissoni, and Francesco Magagnini.
