Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based Milestone AV Technologies acquired Vaddio, a Minnetonka, Minnesota-based global manufacturer of PTZ cameras, professional AV solutions and a suite of Unified Communication and Collaboration products for the audiovisual, videoconference and broadcast markets.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company will now join Milestone to further expand its product and service offerings.
Led by Scott Gill, CEO, Milestone AV Technologies provides branded audio-visual mounting equipment, projection screens and related display solutions for both the consumer and the commercial markets serving a base of over 5,000 global customers. Its products Chief®, Da-lite®, SANUS® and Projecta® are sold through numerous channels, including Pro AV dealers, home theater dealers, consumer electronics retailers, mass merchants and original equipment manufacturers.
The company is majority owned by the Pritzker Group, alongside management and Duchossois Capital Management.
Following the acquisition, Vaddio will continue to be based in Minnetonka.
