Bluebee, a Delft, The Netherlands-based provider of cloud high performance genomics solutions, raised €10M in Series A funding.
Backers included Capricorn ICT Arkiv, Korys and Biover II.
The company intends to use the funds to innovate the Bluebee platform.
Founded in 2011 by Prof. dr. ir. Koen Bertels as a spin-off of the Delft University of Technology and Imperial College London and led by Hans Cobben, CEO, Bluebee provides cloud-based genomics analysis solution combined with accelerated hardware to enable fast and efficient processing of large volumes of genomics data. The technology allows research centres, clinical labs and diagnostics companies to reduce complexity and throughput time of genomic data analysis.
