Apperio, a London, UK-based real-time fee tracking platform for legal firms and their clients, raised £1.7m in seed funding.
The round was led by Notion Capital with participation from NextLaw Labs and IQ Capital.
The company will use the funds to expand its team and further develop its solutions.
Led by founder and CEO Nicholas d’Adhemar, Apperio provides a smart-analytics platform that gives law firms and businesses real-time transparency on legal fees. It offers an interface that creates a common language for law firms and clients, enabling communication of progress and billing and identifying areas for improved efficiency.
The company won Seedcamp 2013 and received previous angel funding from Stephen Chandler, Jan Reichelt and Andy Phillipps.
