MoveWith, a San Francisco, CA-based digital platform dedicated to fitness, raised $3m in seed funding.
The round was led by Forerunner Ventures, with participation from Accomplice and Founder Collective. In conjunction with the funding, Michael Horvath, the co-founder of social fitness tracking app Strava will join MoveWith’s board along with Eurie Kim, partner at Forerunner.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop the platform and expand operations nationwide.
Co-founded in 2015 by Tricia Choi and Holly Shelton, MoveWith is building a digital platform to allow people to discover, connect and book with fitness teachers – yoga, dance, barre and spin classes with inspiring fitness teachers.
The service is currently available in San Francisco and Boston via an iOS app.
