Fantasy Labs Inc., a Beverly, Mass.-based platform of proprietary daily fantasy sports (DFS) data, tools and analytics, secured an investment from Mark Cuban, investor and owner of the Dallas Mavericks NBA franchise.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its analytics offerings into new areas like eSports games, as well as continuing to optimize its core competencies.
Led by Peter Jennings and and Jonathan Bales, Fantasy Labs is a provider of tools and analytics for MLB, NFL and NBA focused contests, with plans for supporting additional fantasy sports categories in the future (including eSports).
The company recently launched a mobile app, available for Android devices, iPhone and other iOS devices.
