Whoosnap, a Rome, Italy-based provider of a platform that makes anyone able to send a request for a real-time picture of a specific place or event, raised €155k in angel funding.
Backers included investors from the Angel Partner Group (APG), a business angel network launched in 2015 by existing shareholder LVenture Group.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop the platform and expand operations.
Led by Enrico Scianaro, CEO and founder, Whoosnap operates a platform that allows people to send a request for a real-time picture of a specific place or event. Geo-localized users can get a push notification on their mobile phones and earn money from any picture taken. Whoosnap’s app, available iOS e Android, has been downloaded over 80k times and has allowed users to sell over 10k photos.
