Danvers, MA-based Infocommerce Partners Holdings, LLC, acquired the assets of WorldTek Events, LLC, a provider of events services to associations, universities, trade groups and other customers around the world.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed. Acquisition financing was obtained from CapX Partners of Chicago along with a group of private investors.
WorldTek Events provides contracted events services to associations, universities, trade groups and other customers around the world. The company has a significant presence in the aviation market and expects to expand their event and travel management services to other business segments both through acquisition and organic growth.
Steve Casley has been appointed CEO of the company, and Martin Madden, President of Infocommerce Partners, has been appointed chairman. Joining the board of managers are Alan Glass and Russell Perkins, Managing Directors of Infocommerce, along with Doug Knight, CEO of Oenok.
