Pypestream, a NYC-based provider of proprietary technology that securely connects brands with their customers using mobile messaging, closed a $2m seed funding round.
Backers included Rick Sirvatis, Pypestream CRO, Trevor Harris, and Scott Henderson.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate sales and continue to develop its technology.
Richard Smullen, CEO, Pypestream provides an customer experience similar to messaging with a friend as opposed to traditional customer service channels, such as call centers or email, while providing enterprise grade business features. The solution is currently running a beta program with selected partners and will be extending the opportunity for more companies to sign up for the platform when it is publicly launched.
