Invixium, a Toronto, Ontario, Canada-based developer of advanced biometric security products, raised $4m in Series A financing.
McRock iNFund LP, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) venture capital fund managed by McRock Capital, made the investment. In conjunction with the funding, Scott MacDonald and Whitney Rockley, Co-founders of McRock Capital, will join the Invixium Board of Directors.
The company will use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Founded 3 years ago by Shiraz Kapadia, Founder and CEO, Invixium provides Made in Canada advanced biometric security products for physical access security at enterprises and industrial facilities through Internet connected computing solutions.
The company has sold over 3,500 products to government and blue chip industrial companies with rugged security requirements in the Middle East, North Africa, India and North America.
