Novartis Italia and Fondazione Cariplo have teamed up to create a program that supports young talent in launching life sciences startups.
BioUpper is a two-year program focused on providing learning and training services to help talent formalize and present new business ideas to receive funds in the field. It will also award the best ideas with a grant.
Focus areas include healthcare, biotechnology, regenerative medicine, personalized medicine, nutraceutics, healthcare software, e-health services, medical devices and diagnostics devices.
The application procedere, the training and acceleration platform and BioUpper partners will be presented in a press conference which will take place in Rome, Italy, on September 30th, 2015.
