Solu Raises $1.3M in Seed Funding

soluSolu, a Helsinki, Finland-based stealth mode hardware startup, raised $1.3m in seed funding.

The round was led by KSV Finland with participation from Vladimir Ashurkov, Sasha Markvo, Otto Hilska (Flowdock) and Timo Kiravuo (Aalto University), hardware startup accelerator BuildIt and others.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to advance its unknown solution.

Founded in 2014 by CEO Kristoffer Lawson, Javier Reyes and Pekka Nikander, Solu currently employs 12 people and aims to launch in autumn 2015 with parallel events in San Francisco, London and Helsinki.
