Kopjra Raises €150K in Funding

kopjraKopjra, a Bologna, Italy-based startup which specializes in legal, IP and privacy defense technologies, raised €150k in funding.

Backers included TIM Ventures, the corporate seed funding arm of Telecom Italia, and Club Italia Investimenti 2. They joined Custodi di Successo, which had previously invested in Kopjra (read here).

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations in Italy and abroad.

Led by CEO Tommaso Grotto, Kopjra provides proprietary software to automatically collect and analyze data and info to track copyright, IP, trademarks and privacy violations on web and p2p networks. peer-to-peer helping clients to remove illegal content and provide damage evidences during legal battles.
The company was part of TIM #Wcap, the open innovation programm of Telecom Italia.
