Granular Closes $18.7M Series B Financing

Granular_LogoGranular, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of farm management software and analytics tools, closed a $18.7M Series B financing.

The round was led by Tao Capital Partners with participation from Emory Investment Management, Fall Line Capital, and H. Barton Asset Management as well as previous investors, Andreessen Horowitz, Google Ventures, and Khosla Ventures.

The company, which has raised $25.2m to date, intends to use the funds to extend the product into the specialty crop and livestock segments.

Led by Sid Gorham, co-founder and CEO, Granular provides farmers with farm management software, which brings together financial, operational and agronomic information in real-time to give growers a view of their operation throughout the entire growing season.
