The company intends to use the funds for technical and market development efforts.
Founded in 2011 by Nathan Oostendorp, Anthony Oliver, Kurt DeMaagd, Jon Sobel (CEO), and Adam Taisch, Sight Machine develops a manufacturing analytics platform, which transforms machine and sensor data into actionable insights, such as real-time reporting of quality problems, retrospective analysis of product variation and failures, predictive analytics to support process improvement, and defensive recordkeeping and proof of quality for customers, enabling manufacturers to address their challenges in quality and operations.
Customers include a major automotive OEM and a large apparel manufacturer.
