Optimatics Raises Venture Capital Funding

optimaticsOptimatics, a Overland Park, KS-based software company focused on the optimization of water systems, raised its first venture capital funding round of undisclosed amount.

The round was led by Emerald Technology Ventures. With this investment, Dr. Helge Daebel, Investment Director at Emerald, will join the Optimatics Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to focus on continued execution of its go-to-market strategy, including the addition of sales and marketing resources as well as intellectual property expansion.

Led by Corey Williams, CEO and President, Optimatics provides infrastructure planning software that enables water and wastewater utilities around the globe to analyze hundreds of planning options across multiple asset types, determining the best plan to reduce capital, operating and energy costs, while meeting all planning objectives.
