Nagare Membranes, a NYC-based developer of membranes for seawater desalination, wastewater reuse, and personal water purification, completed a $10.5m Series A funding round.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate development and manufacturing of its membrane.
Founded in 2013 by CEO Rob McGinnis, Nagare develops advanced carbon nanotube membranes for seawater desalination, wastewater reuse, and personal water purification. They can also be applied to protect people from waterborne disease.
The company has headquarters at Grand Central Tech.
