Encoding.com, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a video encoding platform, completed a Series B financing of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by Harmonic, Inc., with participation from existing investors.
Led by Jeff Malkin, president, Encoding.com provides Fortune 1000 media, entertainment, cable, broadcast, and technology brands with a cloud-based video processing service platform that streamlines transcoding, packaging and video delivery to all mobile, desktop, IPTV, and OTT devices.
The company, which has offices in Aspen, CO and St. Petersburg, Russia, operates in private cloud environments and 12 data centers around the globe
