Lytics Raises $7M in Series A Funding

LyticsLogoLytics, a Portland, Oregon-based provider of an adaptive digital marketing platform, raised $7m in Series A funding.

The round was led by Comcast Ventures, with participation from prior investors Rembrandt Venture Partners and Voyager Capital and Nick Brien, former CEO and chairman of McCann Worldwide; Tim Kopp, former CMO of ExactTarget; and Brett Queener, former executive vice president and general manager of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and current COO of SmartRecruiters.

The company, which has now raised $9.2m in total, intends to use the funds for product development, recruit talent and expansion.

Led by CEO James McDermott and CTO Aaron Raddon, Lytics provides a cloud-based adaptive digital marketing platform that integrates all touch points, surfaces behaviors of customers and prospects, then proactively recommends how to best target audiences across Web, mobile, email and social channels.
It is used by customer-centric companies including Condé Nast, The Clymb, DIRECTV and Intel, among others.
