AnyPresence, a Reston, VA-based mobile platform provider, raised $6M in funding.
The round was led by CNF Investments with participation from existing investors Kinetic Ventures and Grotech Ventures and Citrix.
The company intends to use the funds to expand organically and via partnerships into adjacent product areas such as API management and user interface (front-end) development as well for sales and marketing.
Led by Anirban Chakrabarti, CEO and co-founder, AnyPresence provides a cloud-based app development platform that adapts enterprise systems to support mobile and emerging smart devices. Its solution aims to reduce the time and cost of mobile-enabling enterprise business processes via backend servers (MBaaS), cross-platform SDKs, and user interface kits.
Enterprise customers include Gannett/USA Today, MasterCard, and Schneider Electric.
