iCharts, a Sunnyvale, CA-based provider of a cloud visual analytics platform, closed a $4.3m venture funding round.
The round was led by Software AG. In conjunction with the funding, Frederic Hanika, Head of M&A and Corporate Ventures at Software AG, will also join iCharts’ Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Led by Seymour Duncker, Founder and CEO, iCharts provides a cloud-based Visual Analytics platform that allows business users, enterprises and data providers to create, embed and share interactive visualizations.
It is used by industry leaders such as The Coca-Cola Company, IDC and MarketWatch.
The company recently-released iCharts for NetSuite application which provides the ability to create and share customized visualizations from many data sources, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data from NetSuite in addition to external data (such as web analytics, social media or 3rd party data). Customers can now obtain insights from all their business processes such as sales, marketing, finance and operations through integrated NetSuite dashboards.
