Zooz Closes $12M Funding Round

zoozZooz, a New York- and Ra’anana, Israel-based smart payment technology provider, closed a $12m funding round.

The round was led by Blumberg Capital, with participation from existing investors XSeed Capital, lool ventures and Rhodium and new investors Access Industries and Camp One Ventures. In conjnction with the funding, Alon Lifshitz, Partner at Blumberg Capital, will be joining Zooz as a board member.

The company intends to use the funds to continue creating innovative technology, scale up operations and open new offices.

Founded in 2010 and led by Oren Levy, CEO, Zooz is a smart payment engine that enables enterprise-class retailers and businesses to optimize their payments performance by increasing payment flexibility through connectivity to a network of acquirers and payment methods.
The company’s payment solution complies with all industry security and data protection requirements and regulations, including maintaining level 1 PCI compliance.
Zooz has thousands of retail customers worldwide and partners with payment gateways, processors, and e-wallets.
