Spanish Caixa Capital Risc launched a €9m venture capital fund to develop innovative companies.
Caixa Capital Micro II, which follows Caixa Capital Micro, focuses on helping early stage companies launch their products and services to validate their business model and complete the team to expand internationally. Successful companies will access to further rounds (Series A or B) and attract additional investors.
The fund will make investments amounting to €100k on average, mainly via convertible loans, in Spanish companies with a focus on Life Sciences, Software, Mobile and Internet, Industrial Technologies and New Materials.
