Next Generation Finance Invest, a Zug, Switzerland-based financial trading platform, raised CHF5.5m in funding.
The round was led by Singapore-based private equity firm Luminor Capital. Due to the investment, Next Generation Finance Invest will be transformed from an investment company into an operational holding company and will delist from BX Berne eXchange.
It intends to use the funds to further develop the business.
Led by Robert Lempka, founding partner, Next Generation Finance Invest invests in and supports companies which are positioned to benefit from megatrends in finance (finance 2.0) especially in the field of electronic trading and investment platforms. This includes ayondo (social trading), Gekko Global Markets (trading and investment platform), OANDA (currency trading), StockPulse (financial analysis based on social media activi-ties), yavalu (asset allocation tool) and 2iQ (director dealing data).
