Corrado Passera, formerly CEO of Intesa San Paolo and Minister of Economic Development, recently invested in Club Italia Investimenti 2, a startup micro seed fund.
According to reports, as a shareholder, Passera joined Cristiano Esclapon, Leonardo Ferragamo, Tdb, and H-Farm. Riccardo Monti and Marco Alverà joined as well.
Club Italia Investimenti 2 defines itself as an accelerator enhancer. It provides startups incubated within accelerators with €25k/€50k in cash (taking a 10%/15% equity stake) to help them prototipy products and acquire first clients.
To date, it has signed partnerships with H-Farm, NanaBianca, TechPeaks, Vega, I3P, Polihub investing in about 30 startups (and we covered the majority of them).
