Loop Commerce Raises $7M in Series A Funding

loopcommerceLoop Commerce, a Mountain View, CA-based e-commerce gifting platform, raised $7m in Series A funding.

Backers included:
Mark Carges (eBay CTO),
Don Katz (Audible and Amazon),
Roy Rubin (Magento CEO),
Michael Scharff (former Toys “R” Us SVP),
Oren Zeev,
Chuck Geiger (Chegg CTO), and
Novel TMT Ventures.

Co-Founded in 2012 by CTO Alex Sirota and CEO Roy Erez, Loop Commerce has developed a SaaS-based solution that fully integrates with a retailer’s store to allow them to make every available product giftable, without buyers having to worry about product specifics (such as size, color, style or delivery preference).
