IID, a Tacoma, Wash.-based provider of shared cyber intelligence solutions, raised $8m in Series A funding from Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP).
The company intends to use the funds to grow adoption for its platform.
Led by co-founder and CEO Lars Harvey, IID provides a cyberintelligence collaboration platform, ActiveTrust, which (selectively available today) enables enterprises and government agencies to combat the sophisticated cyberattacks by sharing cyber incident data in real time. It aggregates and analyzes widely sourced threat data, and delivers actionable intelligence to facilitate the protection of assets, brands and users.
Backers include financial firms, large government agencies, e-commerce companies, social networks and ISPs.
The company currently has 65 employees.
