Bonfyre, a Saint Louis, MO-based provider of a content sharing and audience interaction platform, raised nearly $1.7m in funding.
Backers included marketing services agency MKTG INC and angel investors.
The company will use the funds to develop the product.
Led by and Chris Dornfeld, President, Mark Sawyier, CEO, Bonfyre provides an app to connect event organizers brands and organizations with their audiences via cross-platform, event-based micro social networks.
Customers include over 50 major event partners such as Express Scripts, ISES, Amazon and Budweiser Made In America.
