Surge Accelerator Seeks Energy and Water Startups

Surge Accelerator, a Houston, Texas-based accelerator program focused on energy and water startups, is accepting applications for its Spring 2014 class.

Surge will invest in startups spanning the entire energy spectrum, including traditional energy production, energy trading, smart grid, cleantech, cleanweb, and water technology.

Participants will receive seed capital, professional services, mentorship from industry experts and entrepreneurs, as well as access to development tools and potential customers.

Founded in 2011 by Kirk Coburn, Managing Director, Surge has already graduated two classes totaling 23 companies.
