Handybook Raises $10M in Series A Funding

According to TC, Handybook, a NYC-based provider of household services, raised $10m in Series A funding.

Backers included General Catalyst Partners, Highland Capital Partners, and BoxGroup’s David Tisch.

The company intends to use the funds to expand beyond New York into Dallas, San Diego, Houston, Atlanta and Seattle.

Co-founded by Oisin Hanrahan, CEO, Weina Scott, Ignacio Leonhardt, and Umang Dua, Handybook provides a platform to book household and repair services by pre-approved providers such as cleaners, furniture assemblers, plumbers, etc.
